Three Vital Elements to Increase Website Traffic.

Creatively Building Permanent Traffic.

There's no such thing as "too much traffic". Quite simply, more traffic = more sales...

But working to increase website traffic isn't something to laugh at...

As traffic of unique visitors starts building up, it gets harder and harder to achieve one permanent increase in traffic after the other...

I stress the word "permanent" because I'm not referring to spikes in traffic... which can certainly be great, but you need to consider how secure that flow of traffic really is if you want a robust internet business.

In the end, what you want is to increase the flow of permanent, and long- lasting traffic to your internet business websites...

So it's important that you look at traffic not as numbers at particular points in time, but as a thing that you have an influence over in time and in magnitude.

I'll explain...

Consider "Time" to Boost Traffic Numbers.

Website traffic is subject to a time element. You may want to think of it as a "lifecycle"...

At any given point in time, you'll recognize a stable amount of unique visitors to your websites. You'll notice some peaks and valleys... but this is to be expected due to the natural and random variation found in all processes, but the average is sure to be stable.

And it is... stable, because it's the result of all the structures, architectures, processes, actions, activities, and decisions you use to operate your internet business.

It's the result of your internet business's current reality and the result of how everything in it works as a whole...

So you can't expect traffic to grow in the future if the conditions that generate it remain the same.

Consider "Magnitude" to Increase Traffic.

Website traffic is also subject to an element of magnitude. This has to do with how you bring about increments in your traffic numbers.

To me, increments in traffic aren't spikes...

I consider them to be "permanent" increases in the flow of unique visitors brought about by particular and specific actions or changes... in how you run your internet business, its websites, and its offers of value and how you present them to your customers...

Small increments in traffic are usually possible with small tweaks and adjustments.

Larger increments however often require more substantial changes... even in your own mindset as far as the processes that influence traffic to your internet business websites.

Also, as your internet business becomes a more efficient structure and you've managed to build traffic up to a certain point of stability, it'll be increasingly more challenging to achieve these increments one after the other.

But you still want to reach a new level of stability with greater traffic numbers... for that you need to revisit, test, and validate the effectiveness of all processes within your internet business.

Validate the Processes that Generate Traffic.

Validating the processes that generate traffic means looking at the sources of that traffic and questioning their current effectiveness...

Can I generate more traffic to my internet business websites if any changes are applied?

Will that be a "permanent" increase in traffic?

Those questions must be constantly on your mind...

But you'll never know what improvements are possible if you don't question and test the processes you use to generate traffic and run your internet business.

Testing is a crucial discipline for success on the internet... you must adopt "testing and validation" as a regular and frequent practice.

Why?... because for your internet business to grow it necessarily requires that you can create increasing flows of traffic. Not a static, stable, or fixed flow from every source, but a flow you know you can build over time.
