A Customer Value Proposition.

The Vital Element in Building a Strategic Focus!

An Internet Business Value Strategy...

Delivering superior value is essential...

If you've looked at any e-business or internet marketing resources that are minimally worth their price, then you're aware that reaching your goals means hard work, careful planning, a certain amount of trial and error...

But, most importantly...

It's about giving your customer value proposition a strategic focus...

You'll certainly need a clearly defined strategy that guides your actions when starting, growing, and operating your internet business.

Three very specific elements are at the heart of any value strategy...

Benefits, Benefits, Benefits...

Benefits are all the gains your customers receive when they engage your internet business and assume ownership of its offerings...

They aren't product features, technical attributes, or special qualifications.

Only benefits build value! They drive it, and are the true generators of it.

Buyers... specially online buyers are an extremely selfish bunch. They'll buy your products, opt-in to your e- mailing list, or subscribe to your blog... if and when, they're convinced of their quality, importance, and relevancy.

In a nutshell, they'll need to be sure of the value they'll be receiving in exchange for their money, e-mail addresses, and attention....

They'll think in terms of what... and how much they'll gain, learn, or save.

It's benefits (not attributes, features, or qualifications) and a proper customer value proposition that your visitors and potential customers are after!

Think about it this way...

There's always, right up until the very last moment before a purchase, a certain degree of doubt on your customers' minds.

You know that moment, we've all been there...

It's that moment right before a purchase when your thoughts run through your mind with desperate urge and indecision...

A longing so strong it's almost paralyzing!

It's at this moment... when this conscious purchase decision takes place, that the benefits that you've created around your products and other offers give way to your customers' loud and thunderous... "Yes".

That's of course, if the benefits you've conveyed are strong enough and they provide value unmatched.

This is why most (if not all) of the most successful internet marketing and e-business experts stress so forcefully the vital importance of benefits in all their e-books and training materials.

So, if you're now convinced that developing an internet business that focuses on providing customer value is the only way to build sustainable and ever-growing equity...

Then, you must choose to structure your internet business in a way that conveys your unique benefits as quickly and as prominently as possible.

The Value Proposal... A Crucial Statement.

An internet business's value proposal is a statement of offer and identity...

It's a powerful and meaningful message that clearly conveys your strongest benefits and what you're all about.

It should appeal to your customers' senses and emotions!

The value proposal should provide a sense of relief in your customers by explicitly reminding them that they've finally found what they're so desperately searching for... solutions, information, etc.

It's vital then, that your value proposal is displayed prominently throughout your internet business... its website, its blog, its newsletter, and most importantly within its products.

A value proposal should begin to inspire in potential customers a buying attitude, by...

Appealing to your customers' emotions.

Your value proposal must "move your customers from within".

It must make your customers feel "at home" when they finally stumble upon your internet business.

But, appealing to customers' emotions like that isn't easily achieved... it requires an extremely thorough understanding of your market. What they want exactly, and what your competition offers them.

Your value proposal must powerfully sum up what you offer and how you're different!

Creating urgency for your offers.

Within a value proposal, urgency is meant to inspire in customers a buying attitude and longing for your offers.

But, creating a sense of urgency is only possible if your offering is truly valuable.

It can't be just a haphazard mesh of products.

Your offering must be a tailored and well designed proposition for it to be worth the price you're asking for.

Staging Special and Unique Experiences.

Staging unique customer experiences is a crucial part of your internet business's value strategy.

Value is only perceived when customers "experience" your business...

No experience, no perceived value!

Every potential customer will have his own particular experience of your internet business and that of your competitors, and they'll have an immediate impression as far as the value provided by both.

Your job is to engage your customers in a way that they perceive superior value from YOUR internet business and its offerings.

But, you must also decide exactly how you'd like your customers to "experience" your business...

You must design specific "experiences" for online customers!
