A Set of Targeted Internet Marketing Solutions...

The True Basis for a Winning Value Strategy!

Internet marketing was still an infant medium in 1996...

It was also around this time, that the internet became truly accessible for the widespread public...

The web was certainly different then...

But, as it often happens, marketers were around...

They were present even before that year when one of them, Corey Rudl created what would become the Internet Marketing Center.

And, having himself been quite a successful marketer after publishing his own website for "Car Secrets Revealed", he recognized the opportunities that the internet provided even then, and he knew what it would become...

This was definitely a turning point in the world of internet marketing.

It was just about ready for the taking!

Marketing a "Body of Knowledge" for Building Sources of Value and Entrepreneurial Success...

That's what the Corey Rudl and IMC decided to do early on...

To design a comprehensive set of targeted internet marketing solutions that described their own strategies for successfully building a business online.

While other marketers may have been successful in selling their own products, the IMC did so much more...

They brought "science" and "procedure" into the subject of internet marketing with their visionary product "Insider Secrets to Marketing Your Business on the Internet"... now brilliantly rebranded The Step by Step Guide to Selling Online.

It embodied a formal "body of knowledge" for entrepreneurs that were then turning to the internet.

That was the IMC's first big breakthrough...

To have conceived a product which wasn't only the first of its kind, but also one with such a great "academic" quality that so powerfully appealed to their target market.

"Insider Secrets" was then, and still is today, a fantastically designed solution for that addresses a very specific need that all internet entrepreneurs have at one time or another...

"How do I start a business on the internet?"...

A Roadmap to an Effective Online Sales Process.

"Insider Secrets" isn't the only product in the IMC's catalog... but it does serve a vital role in their total conversion strategy.

Like with their online magazine StartUp, "Insider Secrets" is a product targeted for a customer's first purchase...

They're both designed for what I call "gateway purchases".

Then, by overdelivering in that crucial first purchase with these "gateway products" of such quality and value the IMC effectively "warms customers up" for subsequent purchases...

That way, they bring customers much closer to their "active gain" products such as the recently created BeBiz and the Internet Entrepreneur Club forum to capture a wider portion of their customers' share-of-wallet.

But they don't stop there...

They do have a group of "residual gain" products that play an important part in the IMC's conversion strategy...

With products like Mailloop and their Insider Secrets to Selling on eBay, the IMC effectively manages to remain a relevant solutions provider for the most pressing needs of new internet business entrepreneurs.

Using Monetization and the Conversion Process to Deliver Value and Unique Experiences...

The IMC uses their own monetization strategy as a source of value...

And that strategy... the one that has made them the online powerhouse that they are, has been built by including in their "sales content" as much benefits and value as they do in the products it's designed to sell.

Every one of their products is marketed as a solution for a very specific need in an entrepreneur's particular stage of development...

Every product has its own place in their sales process, and their "sales content" addresses that so brilliantly well!

Still Relevant and Making a Difference in Internet Marketing and Online Business...

Derek Gehl took over as Corey Rudl's successor as head of the IMC, and he was certainly instrumental in the company's new personality...

They aggressively looked into new product development and enhancing their traditional offers to better address the needs of their customers as their prime source of value.

The IMC became a much more "vibrant" organization that expanded on its own novel marketing approach...

They brought forth a "fresh" experience for a new brand of value...

That, in my opinion, has been the IMC's trademark... constant re-invention!
